Louis Overview

Louis is a Standard Ranged hero centered on a multi-target rage skill that hits up to 5 enemy troops at once, dealing heavy damage that scales down slightly per additional target. His passives boost skill damage and Ranged Troop HP while garrisoned, add a flat Attack bonus to Ranged Troops, and grant bonus Rage on basic attacks to help him reach his rage skill faster.

His awakening upgrades his rage skill directly, increasing its damage and changing its hit pattern from a fan-shaped area to a circular one so it can catch more targets at once - making Louis a strong AoE-focused Ranged pick, especially in garrison defense.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths
  • Hard-hitting multi-target rage skill that damages up to 5 enemy troops at once.
  • Awakening upgrades both damage and area shape (fan to circle), improving target coverage.
  • Solid garrison scaling: bonus skill damage and extra HP while stationed.
  • Rage-regen passive from basic attacks helps him reach his rage skill more consistently.
Weaknesses
  • Damage per target is reduced for each additional enemy hit, so value drops in very spread-out fights.
  • Garrison-specific bonuses matter less in open-field offense.
  • Flat ATK passive is his only unconditional damage boost; most other bonuses are situational.
  • As a Standard hero, he lacks an exclusive weapon to further scale his kit.

Hero Story

Known since childhood as a "gifted pianist," Louis was an uncompromising perfectionist who devoted himself obsessively to playing piano. Before the catastrophe, an outburst of rage injured his right hand, costing him his ability to play perfectly. In a desperate attempt to heal it, he decided to undergo a "Lazarus" therapy, having his entire hand amputated in hope of a full recovery. But just as the therapy was about to begin, the Zombie epidemic broke out. Though he survived the catastrophe, he lost his right arm completely, and his life has since become a spiral of darkness. He often suffers phantom pain and swallows every medication he can find, but nothing helps. His strange "placebo" came in the form of guns, blood and slaughter - the guns his piano, the fired bullets the melody, and the blood and mutilated limbs the red curtains on stage. Decimation is his only source of satisfaction, whether of Zombies or of humans.
