Jonathan Overview

Jonathan is a Rider hero built to punish enemy Rallies and hold Alliance territory. His Rage Skill hits the target hard, and if that target is a Rally troop, it also cuts their HP and Counter damage for a few seconds. His passive kit backs this up with a self-heal whenever he defeats troops, periodic bonus damage to a random target, a chance to reduce Skill damage taken (with extra damage on Alliance territory), and stronger Rider Troop ATK that spikes further once his troop drops below 30%.

His Awakening doesn't add a new skill but instead upgrades his maxed-out Rage Skill directly, pushing its damage and both Rally-specific debuffs even higher.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths
  • Strong direct damage with a real HP and Counter-damage debuff against Rally troops specifically.
  • Built-in self-sustain through periodic HP recovery on defeating troops.
  • Chance-based Skill damage mitigation, with bonus damage on Alliance territory to boot.
  • ATK scaling that gets stronger as his own troop takes losses.
  • Excels specifically at countering rallies and defending Alliance territory.
Weaknesses
  • Rally-specific debuffs don't apply against non-Rally targets.
  • Self-heal and bonus damage passives are limited by cooldowns (30s and 20s respectively).
  • Skill damage reduction is chance-based, not guaranteed.

Hero Story

Before the Zombie apocalypse, Jonathan worked for a space agency. Even as a child he stared up at the starry sky and became a young aerospace engineer. Jonathan led a team working to master the challenges of life in space, and found his love for the work. His team built a massive underground base in the suburbs to simulate the self-sufficient environment of a space station. They were close to success and only needed the right data.

Jonathan was working alone outside the base when the Zombie apocalypse broke out. A large number of Zombies rushed at him, but the quick-thinking Jonathan jumped on his jet-skateboard and successfully escaped the Zombies. However, when he returned to the base, he found that the entrance was sealed shut with all his colleagues and family inside. Outside the base, evacuation information had been left for him, but he couldn't make contact with the people underground.

Jonathan decided that the base had enough supplies for them, and that he should find a safe place where he wasn't surrounded by Zombies. He decided the sky was the best place to hide from the Zombies and rebuild his home. So he planned to resume space exploration, build a spaceship, and leave the ground where the virus had spread. He will only open the door to this underground base once he succeeds; he is convinced that his loved one, his family, and his friends will remain underground until the moment of success.
