Lynne Overview

Lynne is a Standard Ranged hero built around a precise single-target rage skill that adds extra bonus damage and defensive utility whenever she is surrounded outside of a rally or garrison. Her passives boost her troops' HP, Attack and Defense, with several of them specifically rewarding open-field encirclement scenarios, while her counter-attack and movement-speed passive helps her both survive and reposition.

Her awakening adds a brand-new passive rather than upgrading an existing skill, granting bonus skill damage on the world map and further damage reduction while surrounded, rounding out her identity as a resilient open-field skirmisher.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths
  • Precise single-target rage skill with a strong bonus-damage clause when surrounded in the field.
  • Multiple passives reward and reinforce being surrounded outside of rallies/garrisons (extra damage, DEF, damage reduction).
  • Solid all-round troop scaling: HP, ATK, counter damage and movement speed all boosted.
  • Awakening adds a new source of world-map skill damage and situational damage reduction.
Weaknesses
  • Several of her strongest bonuses only trigger in a specific state (surrounded, not in rally/garrison), making her less impactful in straightforward rally attacks.
  • Rage skill is single-target, without the multi-target coverage some other Ranged heroes bring.
  • Counter-attack shield/damage-reduction procs are chance-based and have cooldowns.
  • As a Standard hero, she lacks an exclusive weapon to further scale her kit.

Hero Story

Lynne once had a happy, loving family. Her parents were military personnel who spoiled her, and their passion for machines influenced her greatly. When the Zombie apocalypse broke out, Lynne was on a study trip at her parents' military factory. Bloodshed and chaos erupted instantly, and to protect her, her parents equipped her with a prototype military exoskeleton they had developed. Lynne managed to survive the Zombies thanks to the exoskeleton, but her parents did not escape their fangs. With no other choice, Lynne ultimately had to shoot her own zombified parents with her own hands. She emerged from that ordeal as a resilient and independent young woman, clad in a cold exoskeleton and armed with an oversized weapon, fighting to survive. For Lynne, the exoskeleton is the only memento she has of her parents. The post-apocalyptic world may be cruel, but the protection and support of the exoskeleton give her warmth and hope - it lets her feel as though her parents are still by her side, watching over her.
