Miyamoto Doichi Overview

Miyamoto Doichi hits multiple enemy troops at once with his fan-shaped rage skill, trading per-target damage for wider coverage. His passives reward pure Infantry formations with bonus damage and give him a chance to shred enemy HP or skill damage on counterattacks, while also boosting his own Infantry troop's ATK, DEF and march speed.

His awakening upgrades Skill 3 (Quick Swing) rather than his rage skill, pushing its Infantry ATK and march speed bonuses significantly higher. Skill priority should focus on Skill 1 first, and the game notes that Skill 1 becomes especially important for march speed once he is awakened.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths
  • Strong fan-shaped AoE rage skill hits up to 3 enemy troops at once.
  • Bonus damage when leading a pure Infantry formation.
  • Counterattack passives can chip away enemy HP or reduce incoming skill damage.
  • Awakened Skill 3 gives a large boost to both Infantry ATK and march speed.
Weaknesses
  • Restricted to alliances with 50+ days of history, limiting early access.
  • Rage skill's per-target damage drops significantly with each additional enemy hit.
  • Counterattack-based effects are chance-based (20%), so proc consistency is limited.
  • Best value requires a pure Infantry composition to unlock the passive damage bonus.

Hero Story

Miyamoto Doichi is the true guardian of the Spider Lily Shrine, though he is elusive and rarely seen.

Carefree and untamed in nature, he harbors a deep passion for swordsmanship. He lives like a wanderer, roaming the world with a sense of freedom and wanderlust. After experiencing the bustling prosperity of civilization, he realized that true peace lies in seclusion, where he could immerse himself in the purest form of swordsmanship, far from the noise of fame. So he chose to live a life of solitude in the depths of the mountains, leaving the direct stewardship of the shrine to others.

When the zombie catastrophe suddenly struck, he personally mobilized the mountain's inhabitants to resist the zombie invasion. As he fought his way through the horde and witnessed the devastation of his homeland, he realized it was time to emerge from his seclusion. He returned to the shrine to recover the legendary sword Onikiri, a relic revered for generations, and turned the shrine into a refuge as well. He and the members of the Spider Lily united to face the crisis and take responsibility for securing the land.
